~ The Winds of Unforgiveness ~

The Winds of Unforgiveness blow in from darkened lands
sweeping across still meadows, stealing the hearts of man
They move silently as they come, and they come when all is still
They move when anger bites man's flesh; they move where they will
The Winds of Unforgiveness come from valleys dark and cold
The Winds of Unforgiveness are born from wounds of old
The Winds of Unforgiveness will go where they please
The Winds of Unforgiveness can consume a man with ease
The Winds of Unforgiveness do not come to help or save
They come to devour people everywhere, who let pride get in their way
The Winds of Unforgiveness laugh with pride as they leave
leaving a man in repentance, broken and on his knees
but
A new wind blows from Heaven; it blows with powers strong
It comes to save the broken soul; to mend all that is wrong
Heaven's breath blows powerfully; it has the power to conquer all
It has the power to still Unforgiveness; to cause pride to fall
As you stand in your valley, as anger and pride call out your name
Remember you don't have to bow down and play their foolish game
The Winds of Heaven are blowing, coming to chase the pain away
but to stay upright in your valley, you first must repent and pray
Humble yourself before your God; His hand is gentle not hard
He'll keep you safe and comfort you; He'll mend your broken heart
But as you stand in the valley, as Unforgiveness tries to win
Remember you need to hold onto the Tree that was used to take away your sin
Stand in your valley;
hold onto the Cross
Know that Jesus is with you;
all is not lost
The Winds of Unforgiveness
blow in from darkenend lands
but they cannot devour you,
if you are in the Father's hands
