PEACE - not to be mistaken with Happiness; not to be mistaken with Joy.

There will be moments in your life where happiness and joy have no place whatsoever - such as loss, illness, or the ending of a relationship. But God can meet you in such places with peace. Joy may be put on hold, and you may feel as though you'll never be happy again, but, here, in the midst of all that torments you, God can favour you with peace, and that peace will help you see that you will get through 'this' - whatever that may be.
In these blogs, when I speak of peace, I am not saying your world needs to be perfect to obtain it. Rather, I'm saying that, no matter what your circumstances are, peace can be obtained.
Peace with hope, Peace with faith, Peace with a confidence that God will get you through this, all can instil into your heart a knowing that the sun will shine again, this pain will pass, you will function again, and God can even heal your heart so you not only dare to laugh again but live again, also. Peace enables you to believe that everything will be ok... no matter what circumstances may scream at you.
(Peace = "...freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions...")
I have found that peace is a doorway to happiness... just as trust in God is a doorway to peace...
With love,
Donna. :)
